Supporting Computational Algorithmic Thinking (SCAT)

The 8-week SCAT Pilot Program was held on the campus of Spelman College from Saturday, January 26, 2013, through Saturday, March 23, 2013.



Twenty 6th grade girls from across the metro-Atlanta area worked in teams of two to learn about the game design cycle and design and implement novel games, which they built using SCRATCH.

Each team submitted either a design document or a functional game to the 2013 National STEM Video Game Challenge.
